Rental Rates
(Effective from January 27, 2024)
The rental rates for Bangladesh Center is provided below. Total rental amount is payable either by check (payable to Bangladesh Canada Association of Edmonton) or by Interact E-Transfer (email: finance@bcae.ca) at least three (3) days prior to the event.
BCAE Members will receive a 20% discount on the posted rental rates. Non-members can take BCAE membership to receive such discount. Click Here to know how to become a BCAE Member.
Monday (11 am - 11 pm) : $150
Tuesday (11 am - 11 pm) : $150
Wednesday (11 am - 11 pm) : $150
Thursday (11 am - 11 pm) : $150
Friday (11 am - 11 pm) : $200
Saturday (11 am - 11 pm) : $200
Sunday (2 pm - 11 pm)* : $150
*Bangladesh Center is reserved for BCAE Bangla School on Sundays until 2 pm
The hourly rate is $40/hour, with a minimum duration of three hours, effective on
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Members of BCAE can receive a 20% discount on the rental rates, daily or hourly.
BCAE-affiliated marginalized sub-groups (Seniors, Youths, Women, and Students from the community) receive a 50% discount on year-round recurrent events [pre-booked, at least, 6 events a year]. No other discount is applicable. All such events are to be executed by the respective subgroups and BCAE does not accept any liability for such events.
In the case of a recurring event beginning in the middle of the year, the CFC, in consultation with the Executives, will decide.
Damage Deposit
All renters must have to pay a refundable deposit of same as the rent. So, for Monday-Thursday and Sunday, the deposit amount is $150. For Friday and Saturday, the deposit amount is $200. The deposit will be returned once the facility is found clean and in the same condition as it was before the event. In the case of any damage or additional cleaning required for the event, the damage and cleaning cost will be deducted from the deposit amount and only the balance amount will be returned. Liability Insurance
All renters must have insurance for their event and provide a copy of documentation from the insurance company to confirm coverage. Online insurance may be available by clicking here. Insurance certificate must be submitted one week prior the event by email at Bangladesh.Center@bcae.ca
Rental Agreement
Bangladesh Center rental requires the renter to sign an agreement. The agreement is provided below and can be downloaded from the following links.
