Boishakhi Mela 2017 is approaching soon, we have few message from our executive team. We still have 39 concert tickets at Bangla Bazar store, tickets are running out. If you are still interested to buy tickets for loved ones please do so soon. Don’t miss Ferdous Wahid and Jubair Tipu at Bonnie Doon Hall concert night.
If you are interested to get a food stall at the mela we have one still available. Please contact BCAE President (780-604-6878) for booking your stall today. If you have not pre-paid for your stalls please pay exact amount cash to our BCAE President, or Treasurer, or General Secretary at the Mela welcome booth. All the food vendors please consider 1 hrs prep time and must sign a mandatory waiver form before you are permitted to serve food at the mela.
Solo Performers: (Song, Dance, and Kobita)
We have finalized the date and time for the Solo artist. If you want to know your schedule please contact BCAE Cultural Sectreatry (780- 802-3657) or President starting Tuesday.
Chorus Performers: (Adult and Children)
Those who came for last 6 practice, we want to thank you for your time and sacrifice.
We have approximately 4 days in our hands. I would like to remind you of important announcements in case if you missed them. All the chorus members please have your attendance at Bonnie Doon Hall at 10:30 am (sharp).
Program Start 11:00 AM (sharp)
Please try to follow the dress code for men, women, boys and girls as much as possible so that in the group performance it will look very nice at the stage.
Women: White saree with red borders and white or off-white blouse.
Men: Colored Panjabi (any color) and try to avoid black or white.
Girls: Yellow / Red saree
Boys: Red Panjabi and try to avoid black or white
